Hey... you've got a thumb just like mine! The short, fat thumb that looks more like a toe? I've got a pair of them, but oddly enough my mother only has one--the other one looks normal. The condition is called Brachydactyly. I've always been a bit self-conscious about my thumbs, so rock on for thinking yours is special--and photographing it no less! :)
